While commencement exercises for the class o! 1932 a r e being held, members of the Rice classes of 1922 and 1927 will meet in reunion at Ye Olde College inn. Both will open their sessions at 12:30 p. m. Monday. The class of 1922 will be celebrating the tenth anniversary of graduation f rom the Rice Institute, while the class of 1927 will commemorate the fifth a n niversary of the finishing of their courses at the University. Dr. Radoslav Andrea Tsanoff, p ro fessor of philosophy, will deliver a few words to the class of 1922. Dr. S tockton Axson, professor of English l i terature, is speaker for the class of 1927. Incidentally, Dr. Axson made the address at the senior banquet in 1927. Both gatherings will be informal. A charge of 75 cents will be made for lunch. Al though both affa i rs are at Ye Olde College inn, they will not be held in conjunction with each other. Dr. William States Jacobs, pastor of the Independent church, will be toastmaster at the class of 1927 banquet . There a re 162 members of the class of 1927, over 100 of them residing in Houston. All those who live in Houston are expected to be present , as well as a few f rom out of town. Mrs. Anah Marie Lcland St ree tman will preside at the convocation of the 1922 graduates. Mrs. S t ree tman is permanent vice president of the class. Dr. Britt Ford Payne is permanent secre taryt reasurer . Harvin Moore is permanent president of the 1927 clas. Other officers are: Mrs. Susie Fondren Trammell , pe r manent vice president; William Smiley, permanent secretary t reasurer , Members of the at tendance committees: 1922: Mrs. Edward O. Fitch, C. A. Barret t , Mrs. F. T, Fendley, Mrs. E. E. Bell, Frances E. Berleth. 1927: Mrs. Fred Stancliff, Mrs. Addlean White, Mrs. Ruth Kirk , Mrs. Carl Schumacher, Mrs. Lonnie Thomas, Mrs. F red Boettcher, Henry Hoffman, Fenton Cooke, Eugene Werlein, Jack Henderson. All husbands and wives of graduates in the two classes are invited, whether they attended Rice or not.
